DIPL on display as part of the show circuit
This year’s Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics (DIPL) show display offers a 360° view of the virtual world.
The department is the lead agency for Northern Territory infrastructure with responsibilities ranging from land planning and administration to transport infrastructure and the building of schools. But that isn’t all! At the display you will be able to -
- see budget announcements and planning activities for your area against a 3D map;
- travel around the region viewing current projects and activities;
- get up close with a project in virtual reality;
- dive into the 10 Year Infrastructure Plan using the Interactive Tool.
And we haven’t forgotten the kiddies. For children under five year olds, we have a bike track complete with ‘traffic signals’ and pedestrian crossings where your little ones can hop onto one of the bikes provided, put on a helmet and learn about road safety.
Televisions will feature road safety messaging, new initiatives implemented by the Motor Vehicle Registry (MVR) and the ever popular ‘Growing the Territory’ video series.
