Draft Codes of Conduct

Point-to-Point Transport Services Codes of Conduct (Taxis, Minibuses, Private Hire Cars and Ridesharing)

Codes of Conduct provide minimum service delivery standards for taxi, minibus, private hire car and ridesharing drivers in the point-to-point transport industry.

The Codes are designed to advise drivers of their responsibilities and obligations and supports the intent of applicable Commercial Passenger Vehicle (CPV) legislation.

The Codes are also designed to assist all CPV industry members to provide a high quality service to passengers.

Private Hire Car and Ridesharing Draft Codes of Conducts

Two new Codes of Conduct have been drafted for the private hire car and ridesharing industries and are now available for comment.

Taxi and Minibus Draft Codes of Conducts

Both the taxi and minibus Codes of Conduct have been reviewed and are also available for comment. 

Providing Comments

You are invited to review and provide comment on the proposed draft documents

The draft Information Bulletin and Codes of Conduct (747.1 kb) are now available for:

  • Taxis
  • Minibuses
  • Private Hire Cars
  • Ridesharing

The closing date for comments is 6 October 2017.

You can provide comments by one of the following options:
